How can a museum help visitors choose what matters to them without prescribing the same visit for everyone?

Start with the visitor
A short quiz provides the starting point for a suggested museum route. The interface asks about the visitor and their available time before presenting a tour. Group planning extends the same idea to friends or family: each person contributes their interests, and the concept allows routes to split temporarily and meet again at an exhibit that interests everyone.

Take the interesting parts home
The visit continues beyond the route. A camera-scanning concept lets visitors add animals, plants and other exhibits to a personal collection. Saved entries provide another way into the museum’s information, both during the visit and afterwards. The collection gives visitors something specific to return to, rather than asking them to retain every detail as they move through the exhibition.

Make the route a shared object
The phone is one part of the proposed experience. A museum map with raised walls gives visitors a physical overview, while projections add routes and room occupancy. An adjacent screen offers access to the quiz. The model and installation render explore how this shared interaction point could sit within a museum, complementing the more personal view carried on a phone.

What I take from it
Explore connects three scales of interaction: a personal route, a group visit and a shared physical map.
